Professor Emma Vardy is a Professor of Geriatric Medicine and Honorary Clinical Chair at the Manchester Academic Health Sciences Centre (MAHSC), University of Manchester. She holds roles as NIHR Ageing Specialty Lead for North West England and Deputy Ageing Theme Lead at Greater Manchester Applied Research Collaboration. Her clinical and academic career spans geriatric medicine, with expertise in delirium, dementia, and frailty. She completed a PhD at the University of Leeds (2007) on Alzheimer's biomarkers and a PGDip in Digital Health Leadership (Imperial College London, 2020).
