Dr. Lisa Mcgarrigle is a Research Fellow in Nursing & Midwifery at The University of Manchester, affiliated with the Healthy Ageing Research Group (HARG) within the School of Health Sciences. She holds a PhD in Cognitive Psychology from Dublin City University (2017) and has extensive expertise in systematic reviews, advanced statistical modeling, and clinical trial analysis. Her research focuses on healthy ageing, leveraging technology to promote physical activity and prevent falls in older adults. She has contributed to pivotal studies on sarcopenia, digital health interventions, and frailty assessment.
