Emanuele Errichiello

Emanuele Errichiello is a PhD candidate in European Affairs and International Political Economy at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), where he also serves as a Guest Lecturer in European Political Economy. His research focuses on Euro-Mediterranean political and economic relations, EU foreign and trade policy, and the interplay between political/economic sociology and International Relations theory. He holds a non-resident Research Fellow position at the independent think-tank Centro Studi Internazionali (Italy), coordinating their EU research group.

His work explores praxeological approaches to EU-Mediterranean relations and the institutional dynamics of EU external policies. Recent research includes analyses of the EU's Mediterranean strategy, crisis management frameworks during the Ukrainian conflict, and the philosophical underpinnings of European identity through Derrida's lens.

Awarded the 2023 Nova Award as one of Italy's top young social science scholars, Errichiello frequently engages with policymakers through institutional projects with the Italian Presidency of the Council of Ministers and contributes to high-profile European policy fora. His publications span academic journals, think-tank reports, and policy analyses focusing on EU governance challenges, economic sovereignty mechanisms, and Mediterranean regional dynamics.
