Prof. Dr. Elisa Kupers is an Associate Professor at the University of Groningen's Faculty of Behavioural and Social Sciences, Department of Inclusive and Special Needs Education. She holds a PhD in Developmental Psychology and has conducted extensive research on teacher-student interactions, student well-being, creativity, and special educational needs. Her work emphasizes inclusive education practices and refugee student integration. She has secured significant grants, including NWO-NRO projects, and has received awards like the 2020 'Let’s get to work, everyone!’ award and the Prins Bernhard Scholarship (2011).
