Efe Imiren

Efe Imiren is a Senior Lecturer and Course Leader in Business Management at the School of Business, Arts, Social Sciences and Technology, University of Suffolk. She holds a PhD in Entrepreneurship from the University of Strathclyde and brings over a decade of digital entrepreneurial experience into her pedagogy.

Her research focuses on digital entrepreneurship, institutional complexity, and gendered phenomena in digital ecosystems. She employs qualitative methodologies like phenomenology and digital research methods, emphasizing non-occidental perspectives.

Efe has co-supervised doctoral projects on sustainability, AI frameworks, and digital banking. She welcomes future research students exploring digital entrepreneurship, AI, and their social impacts (e.g., gendering, sustainability).
