Eddy Ng

Professor Eddy Ng is a Visiting Professor of Organisational Behaviour at the Singapore campus of James Cook University. His research focuses on managing diversity for organisational competitiveness, the future of work, and intergenerational workforce dynamics. He holds a PhD from McMaster University, an MBA from Simon Fraser University, and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia.

His work has been supported by multiple grants from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada, including studies on foreign credential bias (2025–2029), international student retention (2022–2026), and diversity practices (2015–2019). He serves as Editor-in-Chief of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and Co-Editor of Personnel Review. He previously chaired the Academy of Management’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion division and the Administrative Sciences Association of Canada’s Gender and Diversity division.

Key research interests include public service motivation, generational workforce management, and policy-driven inclusion strategies. Over 70 publications span topics like LGBTQ+ representation, anti-DEI legislative impacts, and global workforce trends. His recent work addresses DEI challenges in nonprofit sectors and the effects of generational differences on employment policies.
