Eddy Ng

Eddy Ng is a Professor at the Smith School of Business, Queen’s University, holding the Smith Professorship of Equity & Inclusion. Previously, he held the James & Elizabeth Freeman Professorship at Bucknell University and the F.C. Manning Chair at Dalhousie University. His research focuses on diversity management, organizational competitiveness, and the future of work. He has authored over 90 peer-reviewed articles and six books, with notable contributions to understanding generational differences, LGBTQ+ workplace inclusion, and DEI policy impacts. His work is funded by SSHRC grants and recognized in top 2% of scientists (Stanford Study).

Education includes a PhD from McMaster University, MBA from Simon Fraser University, and BCom from UBC. Prior to academia, he worked in corporate roles at TD Bank across banking, planning, and HR. He serves as Editor-in-Chief of *Equality, Diversity and Inclusion* and Chair of the Gender & Diversity division at the Academy of Management.

Research highlights include analyzing anti-DEI political agendas, generational workforce shifts, and representative bureaucracy theories.
