Professor Dora Scholarios is a Professor and Associate Dean (Research) at Strathclyde Business School, University of Strathclyde. She specializes in work psychology, organizational behavior, and HRM, with a focus on employee wellbeing, recruitment practices, and career transitions. Her editorial roles include Co-Editor-in-Chief of the European Journal of Work and Organizational Psychology and past Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Human Resource Management Journal. She has held leadership roles such as Deputy Head of HRM Department and Associate Dean for Postgraduate Research.
Her research is funded by institutions like the Economic and Social Research Council and explores topics like Industry 5.0, migrant worker well-being, and graduate employability during crises. Notable projects include the Amplifying Employee Voice initiative (2022–2026) and studies on pandemic impacts on graduate careers.
Education qualifications include a PhD in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from The George Washington University (1990) and a Master’s from the University of Glasgow (1985). She is a Chartered Psychologist with the British Psychological Society.
