Anders Dysvik is a Professor of Organizational Behavior at BI Norwegian Business School's Department of Leadership and Organizational Behaviour. He holds a Ph.D. from BI Norwegian Business School and serves as an Associate Editor for journals such as Human Resource Management Journal and German Journal of Human Resource Management. His research focuses on Human Resource Management (HRM), Organizational Behavior, and Leadership, with an emphasis on career development, work motivation, knowledge management, and employee well-being.
Education: Ph.D. in Business Administration (BI Norwegian Business School).
Research Interests: His work explores career resilience, burnout dynamics, employee motivation, temporary employment, knowledge sharing/hiding, and leadership support. He has conducted cross-cultural studies on career success and HR practices, contributing to global HRM frameworks. Recent studies include analyzing horizontal career transitions, the relationship between burnout and career success, and the impact of adverse working conditions on employee behavior.
Publications Overview: Over 80 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters, focusing on HRM systems, leadership practices, and employee outcomes. Key themes include the interplay between intrinsic motivation and workplace flexibility, the role of psychological contracts in employability, and organizational climate effects on knowledge sharing.
