Research Interests:
- Randomised Controlled Trials (design, conduct, and analysis)
- Clinical Trials Methodology
- Risk prediction and Prognostic Modelling
- Statistical learning methods
Recent work includes leading the statistical analysis for studies such as the OuTSMART trial (optimizing immunosuppression in renal transplants), the ECLIPSE programme (cognitive remediation in early psychosis), and the OPEN trial (olanzapine for anorexia nervosa in youth). His articles emphasize methodological rigor, with contributions on outcome reporting standards and trial design innovations.
Collaborations span multidisciplinary teams, including work on autism interventions, vitamin D in psychosis, and ADHD neuromodulation. He is part of the Mental Health & Neuroscience Clinical Trial Statistics Group, advancing clinical trial methodologies.
