Diana Tremayne is a Senior Lecturer at the Carnegie School of Education, Leeds Beckett University, specializing in digital pedagogies and online learning communities. She serves as a course tutor for the Distance Learning PGCE (Masters Level) and contributes to teacher professional development through innovative approaches.

Her research focuses on the role of Twitter chats and online teacher-learning communities in fostering professional learning and teacher agency. This work aligns with her background in further education, where she spent 15 years as an ESOL lecturer and advanced learning practitioner.
