Jamie Poolton is a Senior Lecturer at Leeds Beckett University's Carnegie School of Sport, where he teaches skill acquisition and coaching pedagogy. His research focuses on optimizing expert performance through understanding perceptual-cognitive-motor dynamics and developing interventions for skill resilience. He collaborates with international research groups and applies his work across domains like sport, education, and surgery.
