Dr. Tom Quarmby is a Reader in Physical Education and Sport Pedagogy at the Carnegie School of Sport, Leeds Beckett University. His research focuses on the socio-cultural role of physical education and sport for youth from socially vulnerable backgrounds, particularly care-experienced young people, and the development of trauma-aware pedagogies in PE.
