Denise Jepsen is a Professor at Macquarie Business School, specializing in organizational psychology and human resource management. She holds affiliations with the Department of Management and the Lifespan Health and Wellbeing Research Centre. Her research focuses on employee attitudes, career development, and evidence-based management, particularly in the aged care sector. She has advised numerous PhD and Master’s students on topics related to careers, aged care, and workplace well-being. Denise also serves as an external advisor for organizations like CatholicCare Sydney and chairs the Careers Division of the Academy of Management. Her work has been recognized through multiple MQBS Impact Competitions and other accolades.
Denise previously taught at the University of NSW and the University of Technology Sydney. Her research spans qualitative and quantitative methodologies, addressing issues such as employee engagement, psychological contracts, and organizational justice. She has collaborated internationally on projects like the 28-country study on career resilience. Her current projects include improving workplace safety in aged care and resilience strategies in mining.
