David Greenburg

Dr. David Greenburg is an Associate Professor and Department Head in the Department of Engineering Leadership and Program Management (ELPM) at The Citadel's School of Engineering. He holds a PhD in Business Administration (Management of Engineering and Technology) from Northcentral University, an M.S. in Management from the Naval Postgraduate School, and a B.A. in History from The Citadel.

His research interests include supply chain dynamics, logistics optimization, and leadership in engineering contexts. Dr. Greenburg has over 20 years of active military service in the U.S. Marine Corps, achieving the rank of Lieutenant Colonel, followed by roles in program leadership at Eagan McAllister Associates and Science Applications International Corporation. He is a Certified Professional Logistician (CPL) and Project Management Professional (PMP). His career blends military leadership, academic teaching, and industry experience in project management and systems analysis.
