Michael Shick

Dr. Michael Shick is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Engineering Leadership and Program Management (ELPM) at The Citadel's School of Engineering. He is also a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Air Force with nearly 20 years of experience, specializing in leading operational, technical, and non-technical projects, particularly in Information Technology/Information Systems. Dr. Shick holds certifications such as PMP, CSM, PRINCE2, and LSSGB.

Academically, he earned a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) from Creighton University, an M.S. in Strategic Intelligence from National Intelligence University, an M.S. in Project Management from The George Washington University, and a B.S. in Computer Networking from Regis University. He has taught graduate-level Strategy and Operations courses online and in-person at Regis University and served as a teaching assistant for Statistics at Creighton University.

His professional focus integrates military leadership, project management methodologies, and technical innovation to address complex operational challenges.
