Colin Marshall is an Associate Professor in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Washington, affiliated with the College of Arts & Sciences. He holds a PhD from New York University (2010) and a BA from Reed College (2003). His research focuses on the history of philosophy (particularly Kant and Schopenhauer), ethics, and metaethics. He is also an Adjunct Associate Professor of German Studies.
