معرفی
Dr. Chris Horne is a Senior Research Fellow in Drug Discovery Biology at Monash University. His work focuses on molecular mechanisms of cell death pathways, genetic disorders, and drug target identification in neurological conditions. He collaborates with international teams on projects involving necroptosis regulation, pediatric genetic diseases, and neuropharmacology.
Research Interests: Horne’s investigations span cell signaling pathways, genetic mutation impacts, and translational drug discovery. His recent work explores necroptosis execution dynamics, mTOR signaling roles in cell death, and novel therapeutic targets for bipolar disorder through CaMKK2 inhibition.
Collaborations: Active collaborative research with institutions globally in areas like immunohistochemical pathway mapping, genomic disease characterization, and protein phosphorylation regulation. Notable co-authors include Murphy JM, Hildebrand JM, and Scott JW.
Publications: 20+ peer-reviewed articles (2020–2024) in journals such as EMBO Molecular Medicine, Nature Communications, and Molecular Psychiatry. Topics include necroptotic pathway expression atlases, pediatric ciliopathy genetics, and MLKL polymorphism effects.
