Chloe Betts is a Lecturer in Paramedicine at Charles Sturt University (CSU) within the School of Science and Health Nursing, Paramedicine, and Healthcare Sciences. She transitioned to full-time employment at CSU in 2023, serving as Subject Co-Ordinator for BMS317 and CLS205, and Subject Convenor for APS503. With over a decade of experience as an Extended Care and Intensive Care Paramedic in regional and metropolitan settings, she focuses on workforce disparities, burnout, and clinical practice improvement.

Research Interests: Chloe investigates paramedic workforce disparities linked to geographical positioning, occupational factors affecting health and wellbeing, and strategies to improve retention and reduce burnout. Her work aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals for education and healthcare improvement.
Recent Publications: Her 2024-2025 scoping reviews analyze paramedic confidence in obstetric emergencies, personality profiles related to burnout, and occupational drivers of wellbeing gaps. These studies emphasize rural/urban divides and psychological resilience.
