Clare Sutton is a Senior Lecturer in Paramedicine at Charles Sturt University (CSU), NSW, Australia. She previously held roles at the University of Northampton, including Senior Lecturer and Practice Education Lead. Her academic background includes a Masters in Emergency Care (Distinction), Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education, and a PhD Candidate research focusing on resilience in student paramedics.
Her research focuses on paramedic wellbeing, mental health in emergency services, and rural healthcare. She leads the International Paramedic Anxiety and Wellbeing Study (IPAWS) and co-chairs the Dare to Know Student Paramedic Research Scholarship program. She holds roles in professional organizations like the Australasian College of Paramedicine (ACP) and chairs the Paramedic Wellbeing Group.
