Jacob Grevell is a Lecturer in Paramedicine at Charles Sturt University (CSU), where he teaches third-year subjects and a first-year placement course. He is currently pursuing a Master of Philosophy, focusing on paramedics' perceptions of treating patients with chronic pain.

- Research Interests: Paramedic pharmacology, geriatrics, palliative care, medical education innovations (e.g., escape rooms), and physical preparation for paramedic practice.

His recent research on paramedicine students' physical readiness for professional roles includes four 2024 conference posters and presentations. In 2023, he received the Governor General's recognition for his advisory role in the StreetKind program, which promotes community safety and prosocial behaviors in Sydney nightlife. Jacob collaborates internationally, including participation in the UK's PARAMEDIC2 trial on adrenaline use in cardiac arrests, and supervises honours students in paramedic studies.
