Chiara Longoni is an Associate Professor of Marketing and Sales at Bocconi University, conducting interdisciplinary research on AI adoption for social good, with applications in business, law, and policy. She also studies behavior change, sustainability, and climate action.

Her research spans AI in consumer contexts (healthcare, recommendations, content generation, government) and sustainability. She examines how AI affects prosocial behavior, trust, and decision-making, and investigates factors driving climate action and well-being.
Recent work highlights societal impacts of AI: unfair AI reducing prosociality, AI literacy's role in adoption, generative AI's effect on inequality, and cognitive biases in consumer judgments. Her studies also analyze digital signals in customer journeys.
