Carlin Conner, Ph.D., is a Senior Research Scientist at the Virginia Literacy Partnerships (VLP) within the University of Virginia's Center for Advanced Study of Teaching and Learning (CASTL). Their work focuses on literacy improvement initiatives, including developing the Virginia Language and Literacy Screening System (VALLSS) and supporting culturally/linguistically diverse learners and students with disabilities. Conner holds a Ph.D. (2020) and M.Ed. (2016) in Education from Southern Methodist University.
