Jenifer Davis

Jenifer Davis serves as Project Manager and Research Specialist for the Virginia Kindergarten Readiness Program (VKRP) at the University of Virginia's Center for Advanced Study of Teaching and Learning (CASTL). She holds an adjunct faculty role in the School of Education and Human Development, teaching literacy courses.

Education: M.T. and B.A. from University of Virginia (1994), with a 2024 Certification in Project Management from the same institution. Prior roles include classroom teacher, literacy coach, and division-level English coordinator in Virginia schools.

Her expertise spans curriculum design, assessment strategies, grant management, and data-driven decision-making in education. She is a preK CLASS expert coder for Teachstone.

Current responsibilities include overseeing VKRP's day-to-day operations, strategic planning, and statewide implementation. She leads collaborative teams and analyzes educational data at macro and micro levels.

Associated with the VKRP initiative, her work focuses on enhancing kindergarten readiness through evidence-based practices.
