Cale Self is a Professor of Music, Director of Athletic Bands, and Instructor of Euphonium & Tuba at the University of West Georgia. He holds a DMA in Euphonium Performance from the University of Georgia and teaches courses in music theory, applied brass instruments, and conducting. His roles include leading the Marching Wolves, Basketball Pep Band, Brass Ensemble, and Tuba Ensemble. He also serves as Music Program Coordinator.

- M.M. in Instrumental Conducting, West Texas A&M University (2002)
- Doctor of Musical Arts in Euphonium Performance, University of Georgia (2010)
Performance & Engagement: Dr. Self performs nationally and internationally with orchestras like the Baltimore Symphony, and teaches at the Brevard Music Center’s Low Brass Seminar. He is affiliated with Eastman Winds and Parker Mouthpieces, and actively engages in solo, ensemble, and adjudication roles across the Southeast.
