Audrey Roberson

Dr. Audrey Roberson is an Assistant Professor at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Nursing, serving as Concentration Lead for Nursing Leadership and Organizational Science. With over 30 years of nursing experience spanning bedside care, education, and management, she focuses on critical care mobility and pulmonary rehabilitation research.

Her research examines the mobility of mechanically ventilated patients and pulmonary-focused verticalization therapy. Clinical interests include leadership development and evidence-based practice implementation.

Publications demonstrate consistent focus on critical care outcomes, infection prevention, and rehabilitation protocols in intensive care settings.

Professor Roberson teaches graduate courses in evidence-based practice, quality improvement, and healthcare leadership through the Nursing Leadership program.
