Sharon Bragg is an Assistant Professor at the University of Virginia (UVA) School of Nursing and a veteran critical care nurse manager specializing in pulmonary and medical intensive care. She has served as Assistant Nurse Manager in UVA Health’s Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) and Special Pathogens Unit since 2012, overseeing operations in a 34-bed COVID ICU with a focus on infection control, financial management, and safety standards. With over 150 team members under her supervision, she is recognized for leadership in clinical instruction, mentorship, and graduate-level teaching in leadership and complex care.

She actively contributes to professional organizations such as the American Association of Critical Care Nurses and Sigma Theta Tau.
