Dr. Aswini Yadlapalli is a Lecturer in Supply Chain Management at RMIT University's School of Accounting, Information Systems, and Supply Chain. Her research focuses on supply chain sustainability and digital transformations, with publications in top-tier journals such as the International Journal of Production Economics and Journal of Cleaner Production. She leads projects on electrification of heavy vehicles, energy transition initiatives, and sustainable procurement indices. Dr. Yadlapalli has supervised five PhD students, including two to completion, and currently advises three cross-national researchers.
Her teaching expertise spans postgraduate and undergraduate courses in supply chain sustainability, global trade operations, and logistics. She has designed modules on warehouse management, supply chain analysis, and digital supply chain principles. Dr. Yadlapalli's research projects address critical issues like blockchain's role in combating modern slavery in healthcare supply chains and the adoption of Business Process Management in Saudi Arabia.
Notable collaborations include studies on Saudi Arabian supply chain digitization and the impact of technological advancements on regional supply networks. Her work aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals 5 (Gender Equality), 8 (Decent Work), and 9 (Industry Innovation). She is open to supervising Masters and PhD students in supply chain sustainability, technology adoption, and global supply chain governance.
