Arthur Adamopoulos is a Lecturer at RMIT University, based at the City Campus in the School of Accounting, Information Systems and Supply Chain, within the Department of Information Systems and Business Analytics (DISBA). With over 30 years of teaching experience, his expertise spans Information Systems, Blockchain, and Web3 technologies, which he has specialized in since 2013. He pioneered and developed four blockchain-focused courses at RMIT. His research interests include Blockchain, Web3, Cryptocurrencies, Intelligent Warehouses, the Metaverse, Information Behavior, and Online Investing. He has published in high-impact journals and successfully supervised six PhD candidates to completion.
His teaching portfolio includes coordinating courses such as ISYS3408 - Blockchain for Business and INTE2572 - Blockchain Strategy. Previously, he taught networking, IT infrastructure, database systems, and programming courses. Arthur’s research projects address critical areas like blockchain adoption in supply chains, warehouse management optimization, and the impact of technology on accounting professions.
Notable research outputs include studies on blockchain traceability in sustainable food supply chains, knowledge management in blockchain implementations, and intelligent agent frameworks for warehouse systems. His work often intersects technology adoption, decision support systems, and organizational transformation. Arthur is open to supervising PhD and Masters students in his research areas.
