Associate Professor Muhammad Abdulrahman is a faculty member in the School of Accounting, Information Systems and Supply Chain at RMIT University, Australia. His research focuses on supply chain sustainability, green supply chain practices, reverse logistics, and circular economy frameworks. He has over 25 years of combined industry and academic experience, leading interdisciplinary projects such as the RMIT RACE for 2030 initiative on energy upgrades for homes and the Sustainable Procurement Disclosure Index project.
Abdulrahman’s industry collaborations include low-carbon manufacturing design for Chinese exports, policy development for pharmaceutical supply chains between China and Nigeria, and next-generation cold supply chains between Denmark and China. He is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA) and serves on the editorial board of the International Journal of Production and Operations Management (IJPOM).
His research addresses challenges in supply chain resilience, additive manufacturing applications, and sustainable procurement. Abdulrahman is open to supervising PhD/Masters students and collaborates on projects related to circular supply chains and operational efficiency.
