Han Zhang is a Lecturer in Business Analytics at Coventry University’s School of Strategy and Leadership (SSL), part of the College of Business and Law. She holds roles as Module Leader for Data Mining Methodologies and Applications (PG), Associate Course Director for BA Business Administration, Progress Coach for MSc International Business Management Year 3, and Academic Conduct Officer. Her industry experience includes six years in sales and exporting management in the stainless-steel industry in China and the Middle East.
Qualifications: PhD (Supply Chain Management, current), PGCert Academic Practice (Coventry University, 2022), MSc International Business Management (Coventry University, 2019, Distinction), BA E-commerce (Hubei University of Education, 2011).
Research focuses on advanced technologies in manufacturing supply chains, including blockchain applications in steel manufacturing, Industry 4.0, circular economy, and sustainable operations. Key projects address blockchain’s role in supply chain resilience during crises like the pandemic, digital circular economy transitions, and systemic innovations in manufacturing. Her work aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for industrial sustainability and societal impact.
Publications include peer-reviewed contributions on blockchain’s impact on sustainable supply chains and resilience in steel manufacturing contexts. She is a member of the British Academy of Management since 2022 and teaches at the High Value Manufacturing Catapult’s Emerging Skills Project.
