Arvind Yadav is an Associate Professor in Business Strategy at Norwich Business School, part of the University of East Anglia. He joined the school in May 2011 and previously taught at Nottingham Trent University. His research focuses on strategic management, international business, and the UK grocery retail industry. He holds an MBA from the Birla Institute of Management Technology (India) and a PhD from Loughborough University, where his doctoral work examined competition and performance in the UK grocery sector.
Dr. Yadav specializes in quantitative research methodologies, including econometric tools like STATA, LIMDEP, and SPSS. His current research interests include efficiency analysis of UK retailers, international expansion of retailers into developing economies, and strategy-as-practice during critical industry periods. He is currently preparing journal submissions for the Journal of Management Studies and the British Journal of Management.
His teaching emphasizes critical thinking and practical application of management concepts. He has supervised MSc and undergraduate dissertations and teaches at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
