Anusha Govind

Anusha Govind, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center, specializing in infectious diseases. She joined the faculty in 2020 and holds membership in the Division of Infectious Diseases and Geographic Medicine.

Education: B.A. in Psychology (cum laude) with a biology minor from Austin College, Texas. M.D. from Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine. Completed residency in internal medicine and infectious diseases fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.

Research focuses on HIV management, opportunistic infections, hepatitis B/C, and PrEP. Professional affiliations include the Infectious Diseases Society of America, American Medical Association, and American College of Physicians.
