Anne Gardner

Prof. Anne Gardner is the Associate Dean (Teaching & Learning) at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), Faculty of Engineering & IT. She holds a PhD from UTS (2015) and has served as Head of the School of Professional Practice & Leadership. Her research focuses on engineering education, including collaborative learning, flipped classrooms, and academic identity transitions. She has received prestigious awards like the OLT National Teaching Fellowship and Engineers Australia's Engineering Excellence Award. Gardner leads initiatives like the AAEE Winter School, fostering engineering education research communities. Her work emphasizes linking student attribute development to professional practice, with over 146 publications in engineering education and healthcare.
