Anna Einarsdottir is a Reader in Critical Diversity Management at the School for Business and Society, University of York, specializing in discriminatory practices at work and inclusive organizational environments with emphasis on gender and sexual identities. She actively collaborates with public, private, and third-sector organizations to address ethical challenges in workplace diversity.
Her research focuses on critical diversity management, employee networks as alternative collectivism, gender/sexual identity embodiment, workplace bullying, and ethical management. She recently completed an ESRC-funded study on LGBT+ employee networks with NHS Employers and Stonewall, and currently chairs a COST Action on LGBTI+ inequalities involving 90+ European scholars while leading the EDI Workstream for Screen Industries Growth Network.
Her publications reveal strong thematic continuity in analyzing LGBT+ networks' role in workplace inclusion, diversity scheme efficacy in screen industries, and the intersection of identity with organizational policy. Recent work emphasizes practical EDI interventions through stakeholder engagement and network analysis.
