Angus Nicholls is a Professor of Comparative Literature and German at Queen Mary University of London, serving as Director of Research for Comparative Literature and Modern Languages. His work bridges literary studies, philosophy, and the human sciences, focusing on German and Anglophone traditions from the late 18th century onward. He holds a BA (Hons) and PhD (Monash) and has held prestigious fellowships, including a Humboldt Foundation Senior Research Fellowship. His research explores intersections between literature, anthropology, psychoanalysis, and critical theory.
