Professor Andy Dougill serves as Dean of the Faculty of Sciences at the University of York, overseeing academic strategy and teaching/research developments. Previously, he held roles as Dean for Global Development at the University of Leeds, Executive Dean of the Faculty of Environment, and Head of the School of Earth and Environment. His research focuses on applied environmental change, integrating soil science, ecology, climate services, and social sciences to address sustainability and climate adaptation in African food systems and dryland environments.
- PhD supervision: Accepting students in African Food Systems and Climate Change Adaptations in Dryland Farming Systems.
