Dr. Amy Hardy is a Senior Lecturer in Clinical Psychology at the King's College London, affiliated with the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience and the Psychological Interventions for Outpatients with Psychosis (PICuP) Clinic. Her work bridges clinical psychology, trauma research, and digital health innovations.

Dr. Hardy's research explores psychological processes in post-traumatic stress among individuals with psychosis, focusing on trauma-informed practices and digital therapies. Key projects include SloMo (digital therapy for paranoia) and AVATAR therapy (intervention for distressing voices). Her work has received £1.3 million Wellcome Trust funding and is recommended by NICE for NHS implementation.
Recent publications highlight complex PTSD networks in psychosis, trauma-focused CBT mechanisms, and methodological advancements in digital mental health. As Trauma-informed Care Lead, she drives implementation science and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams including inclusive designers and technologists.
