Ali Groves

Ali Groves, PhD, MHS is an Associate Professor in the Department of Community Health and Prevention at Drexel University's Dornsife School of Public Health. Her work focuses on using mixed-methods research to address structural barriers impacting reproductive justice and health equity. She holds a PhD from the University of North Carolina Gillings School of Global Public Health, an MHS from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and a BA in Psychology from Grinnell College.

Her research examines how social policies like guaranteed basic income and eviction prevention programs improve health outcomes for marginalized populations, particularly during pregnancy/postpartum periods and in Southern Africa.
