پژوهشگر · Low Temperature Physics
Royal Holloway, University of Londonمعرفی
Alexander Waterworth is a Postgraduate Research Student in Condensed Matter Physics and Quantum Fluids and Solids at Royal Holloway, University of London, funded by the EPSRC. His research focuses on low-temperature physics, particularly the exotic properties of helium, including 2D helium films on graphite substrates and their magnetic phases. Previously, he studied turbulent properties of low-temperature helium-4 during his MPhys project at Lancaster University (2010-2014).
Research Interests:
His primary areas of study include low-temperature physics, quantum fluids, and the behavior of helium isotopes under varying conditions. He investigates phenomena such as superfluidity, magnetic phase transitions, and fluid dynamics in ultra-cold environments.
