معرفی
Dr. Theo Noble is a Researcher in the Department of Physics at Lancaster University, working with Dr. Viktor Tsepelin in the Ultra Low Temperature Group.
His research focuses on quantum phenomena in superfluid systems, particularly:
- Quantum turbulence in superfluid helium-3 and helium-4 at low temperatures
- Acoustic emission of oscillators in helium-3
- Development of multifrequency oscillator techniques for studying helium liquids
- Nanobeam studies to capture single quantum vortices in low-temperature helium-4
- Using quasiparticles in superfluid helium-3 to image quantum turbulence with a 25-tuning-fork quasiparticle camera
His recent publication explores dark matter attenuation effects and sensitivity ceilings for different particle interactions, demonstrating his interdisciplinary work spanning condensed matter physics and particle physics.
Dr. Noble is actively involved with the Ultra Low Temperature Group at Lancaster University and participated in the Royal Society Summer Science Exhibition 2024 with the presentation 'A quantum view of the invisible universe'.
