Professor Aled Jones is the Head of the School of Nursing and Midwifery at the University of Plymouth, part of the Faculty of Health. He holds dual roles as a Professor of Patient Safety & Healthcare Quality and a Non-Executive Director at the Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust. His research focuses on patient safety, healthcare quality improvement, implementation science, and the interplay between workforce deployment, workplace culture, and staff wellbeing.
