Jill Maben is a Professor of Health Services Research and Nursing at the University of Surrey, leading the Workforce Organisation and Wellbeing (WOW) Research Theme. She holds visiting professorships at King's College London and Murdoch University (Australia). Her research focuses on improving healthcare staff well-being and its link to patient care quality, particularly through interventions like Schwartz Rounds and evaluations of workplace environments. She was awarded an OBE in 2014 for services to nursing and healthcare and became an NIHR Senior Investigator in 2020.
