Prof. Dr. Michael Thorwart is a Professor at the University of Hamburg , affiliated with the Faculty of Mathematics, Informatics and Natural Sciences and the Department of Physics . As the leader of the Nonequilibrium Quantum Dynamics Group at the I. Institute for Theoretical Physics , he focuses on quantum coherence, spintronic systems, and condensed matter dynamics.
