Prof. Dr. Michael Thorwart is a Professor at the University of Hamburg, affiliated with the Faculty of Mathematics, Informatics and Natural Sciences and the Department of Physics. As the leader of the Nonequilibrium Quantum Dynamics Group at the I. Institute for Theoretical Physics, he focuses on quantum coherence, spintronic systems, and condensed matter dynamics.
