Selma Kadic-Maglajlic is an Associate Professor of Marketing at Copenhagen Business School (CBS) , where she also serves as an Associate Editor for Special Issues at Industrial Marketing Management . She holds a visiting professorship at Católica Porto Business School and has taught at institutions including the University of Ljubljana and Vienna University of Economics and Business. Dr. Kadic-Maglajlic earned her Ph.D. from the University of Ljubljana in 2013, with her dissertation recognized by the Institute for Market-Oriented Management at the University of Mannheim. Her research focuses on the dark side of human behavior in B2B sales , including ethical issues, customer incivility, and xenophobia's impact on service sabotage. She also explores social media analytics and strategic marketing decisions. Her work has been published in top journals like Journal of Business Ethics and British Journal of Management , and she has secured multiple national/international grants. Dr. Kadic-Maglajlic is a co-chair of CBS's B2B Marketing Research Cluster and serves on advisory boards for Includovate and Rootically . She has consulted for organizations including USAID Diaspora Invest and UN Women. Her teaching includes courses on professional selling and international marketing, with supervision topics covering AI in sales management and ethical sales team culture. Her recent articles analyze sales-service ambidexterity, anti-vaccination sentiment on social media, and xenophobia's role in tourism management. She actively collaborates on projects addressing global business challenges and the care economy in post-conflict regions like Bosnia and Herzegovina.
