Lisa Levy is an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Environmental Sciences , University of Geneva, since 2015. Her work bridges territorial planning policies and epistemology of development , focusing on the interplay between structured planning and improvisation in shaping urban spaces. She specializes in environmental risks (flood zones and airport areas) and flood risk governance . Education: Doctorate in Geography, University of Grenoble (2013) Her research explores territorial improvisation as a counterpoint to traditional planning, analyzing large-scale projects through rhythmanalysis and temporal dynamics. Publications highlight collaborative governance in flood risk management and the epistemological shifts in urban policy implementation. Teaching: Research Methodology Territorial Project Workshops Urban Policy and Governance Thesis Directions: Supervised Master's projects on affordable housing policy in Val de Bagnes, Chasseral Regional Park expectations, and urban mobility challenges in Montréal.
