Lisa Levy is an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Environmental Sciences, University of Geneva, since 2015. Her work bridges territorial planning policies and epistemology of development, focusing on the interplay between structured planning and improvisation in shaping urban spaces. She specializes in environmental risks (flood zones and airport areas) and flood risk governance.

Her research explores territorial improvisation as a counterpoint to traditional planning, analyzing large-scale projects through rhythmanalysis and temporal dynamics.
