Hugo Campi

Hugo Campi is a PhD student in Urban Planning and Urbanism at the University of Geneva’s Faculty of Social Sciences. He concurrently serves as a Lecturer (substitute) and Assistant (A2 level) at the Institute of Environmental Governance and Territorial Development. His academic background includes a Master’s in Territorial Development from the University of Geneva and a Bachelor’s in Landscape Architecture from HES-SO.

His research focuses on the historiography of urban planning through a Foucauldian lens, examining discursive productions and historical epistemologies. Teaching responsibilities include courses like Regional Development Workshop and Urban Policy & Governance.

He has supervised/co-supervised over 15 master’s theses addressing topics such as urban heat islands, landscape integration in infrastructure projects, and hospital infrastructure in dense urban areas.

Affiliated with the UNIGE-HES-SO Joint Master’s in Territorial Development, he collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to advance territorial planning strategies. His prior experience includes eight years in landscape architecture design offices.
