His collaborative efforts include co-authoring the first Estonian-language MOOC on medicines. Scientific awards include the Professor Ain Raal's Pharmacognosy Scholarship (2020). Janne contributes to public pharmaceutical education through media outreach and collaborates with the Estonian Anti-Doping and Sports Ethics Foundation . His lab work involves chemical profiling of medicinal plants and antimicrobial testing.
